XCOM 2 WAR OF THE CHOSEN CUTSCENES UPDATE

Update November 2017: After discussions with 2K Games, we're disappointed to report that Pavonis Interactive will not be updating Long War 2 to work with War of the Chosen. If you have installed WotC, select the vanilla version of XCOM2 in the launcher to continue playing Long War 2.

This mod does not work with War of the Chosen. NOTE: If you downloaded the 8/27 version of 1.5, you can get the single fixed file in the updates section and save yourself redownloading the whole mod. To confirm your version, you can look in launch.log for the line "Init: FxsChangelist: 234736." Launch.log is located here.

This patch is downloaded automatically when you connect to Steam. Long War 2 only works with Patch 7 of the retail copy of XCOM 2. Our custom cutscenes may not have translated audio or subtitles in non-English installs. Long War 2 doesn't support controllers.

(We still want bug reports if these kind of crashes happen.)

If the above steps don't fix your problem, remove all other mods and see if it persists.Īn additional temporary workaround to crashes when starting a new campaign is to move all of your old save files out of \Documents\My Games\XCOM2\XComGame\SaveData. I'm on a PC laptop, and my game is consistently crashing during the same spot in the cutscene on the beginner planet when they discover the Jedi fighter crashed into the ship, it always does the same thing, Cal goes to wipe the dirt off of the wing, there's a break in the audio, the screen goes black, shows my desktop but audio continues for 3-4 minutes, during that time I am unable to do anything, then it closes out completely.
